I still remember the “Crayon House” when I visited with my mom when I was a little child. It is a place filled with colorful picture books. The Crayon House has been in business for the past 33 years and is still evolving.

 

The Crayon House (a four story building) is a fun, relaxing, and healthy place to visit with your kids.  

Shop around for your favorite books and toys at the children’s bookstore (1F) and toy store (2F), then enjoy the first chapter of the new book at the restaurant Hiroba (B1F)! Their organic lunch buffet is fabulous. The menu changes every day and everything they serve is delicious organic food. It is reasonably priced and you can eat as much as you want!

 

After the lunch, look around at organic skincare products, clothes, and books for yourself on the 3^rd Floor.

Don’t forget to go to the basement, the “vegetable market” before you leave. You can find a variety of organic vegetables and products for dinner at night.

 

We know Tokyo is a huge condensed city, but we rarely find a place where moms and children can truly enjoy being together in a safe, healing, healthy environment. The Crayon House will definitely teach children something very important.
